One board, one rule
Peakfy has a single global leaderboard. There are no categories, no filters and no seasons. Every listing stands on the same ladder.
- Rank is your total. It is everything you have ever paid for a listing, in US dollars. The highest total is #1.
- Totals never expire or reset. What you paid last month still counts today.
- Whole dollars only. Every payment is a whole number of dollars, at least $1. There is no maximum.
- Ties go to the first listing. If two listings have the same total, the one added to Peakfy first keeps the higher rank.
- Only payments count. Rank does not depend on how good the product is, how many people click it, or how often it is shared.
- The board is live. It refreshes about every 30 seconds while you have the page open.
Climbing the ladder
The price of a higher rank is simple: the gap between you and the listing you want to pass, plus $1.
- Climb for $X on a row is the exact price to pass the listing directly above that row.
- Add credits lets you pay any amount you choose. A live preview shows your new total and the rank it would give you.
- Price to take #1 at the top of the page is the current #1 total plus $1.
- Paying less than a full climb still helps. You move up as far as your new total reaches.
- Paying more than the price gives you a buffer before the next person can pass you.
Here is how it works with a small board:
| Rank | Listing | Total |
| #1 | Alpha | $500 |
| #2 | Beta | $400 |
| #3 | You | $300 |
- To pass Beta you pay $101 (the $100 gap plus $1). You are now at $401 and #2.
- To take #1 you pay $201. You are now at $501 and #1.
- If you pay $150 instead, you reach $450 and move to #2, not #1.
Your rank is set when your payment completes. If someone else pays while you are at checkout, you may end up lower than the preview showed. Your full payment still counts toward your total.
Your listing
- Adding one. Enter a name (up to 60 characters), your website address, a one-line pitch (up to 140 characters) and an amount, then press Claim a rank.
- One listing per website. If your site is already on the board, use Climb or Add credits on its row. The amount is added to the total it already has.
- Find yourself. Use the search box above the leaderboard to look up a name or website and see its rank, its total and what it costs to climb.
- Anyone can pay toward any listing. A friend, a fan or a rival can add to your total. Payments only ever raise a listing. Nobody can lower yours or take it over.
- Paid by mistake? If you entered the wrong name or address, contact us and we will correct it. See the Refund Policy for charging errors.
- New listings may be checked before they appear on the board.
Sharing and the Top referrers board
Every listing has a Share button that makes a personal link. When someone opens your link and stays, Peakfy counts them as a visitor you brought in. The side panel ranks listings by visitors brought in over the last 7 days.
- A visit counts once per visitor per day, and only after they have stayed a few seconds and scrolled or clicked.
- Your own visits do not help you, and bots and repeat refreshing do not count.
- The Top referrers board is for recognition. It has no effect on rank, and it carries no cash value or prize.
- We may highlight the top referrer, and we may correct counts if we see tricks.
What you can list
List something real, honest and safe. Visitors click your link trusting that it is what you say it is.
- A working website, app or page you own or have the right to promote.
- A name and one-line description that accurately say what visitors will find.
- A link that goes straight to what you describe, and keeps doing so.
Not allowed, in the link, the name or the description:
- Illegal content or activity, including the sale of illegal goods or services.
- Scams and fraud: fake giveaways, get-rich-quick or pyramid schemes, fake investment offers, and impersonation of a person, brand or authority.
- Malware and phishing: sites that install software without clear consent or steal passwords, card details or personal information.
- Sexually explicit or adult content, and anything that sexualises or exploits minors. The latter is also reported to the authorities.
- Hateful, abusive or violent content, including threats, terrorism and self-harm promotion.
- Pirated material, counterfeit goods, or trademarks used to mislead.
- Sites that expose people’s private information without consent.
- Unlicensed or unlawful gambling, and prohibited financial products or services.
- Misleading claims, fake testimonials, contact details or extra links stuffed into the name or description, or spam-style text.
- Redirecting visitors to a different site from the one you described, or changing what your link leads to after you are listed.
Fair play
- Do not try to break, overload or exploit Peakfy, or change your rank by any method other than a genuine payment.
- Do not submit listings in bulk, use automated tools, or submit duplicates for the same site.
- Do not manipulate referral counts.
- Do not pay with a card or account you do not own, or dispute a genuine charge.
After you pay
- Your listing is public. Clicks go to the address you submitted.
- A completed payment is what claims the rank. Payments cannot be cancelled once your listing is live, except in the cases in our Refund Policy.
- Prices are shown in US dollars. If you pay in another currency, the amount you will be charged is shown at checkout before you pay.
- Paying means you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.
Removals, reports and appeals
- We may remove or hide any listing at any time, whether or not we checked it first. Listings are not endorsements.
- A listing removed for breaking these rules is not refunded, as set out in our Terms. Repeated or serious breaches can lead to a block from Peakfy.
- Where the law requires it, we may report unlawful content to the authorities.
- See a listing that breaks the rules? Tell us through the Contact page with its website address and what is wrong.
- Think we removed yours by mistake? Write to us the same way, and we will take another look.
Changes
We may update these rules from time to time. The date below shows when they were last changed.
